Project Overview

The world-famous seafood restaurant had a problem. Their off-the-shelf SaaS Lobster Reward App needed updates.  As is the case with most off-the-shelf solutions, updating the app was time consuming, costly and in some cases not possible. Concepta delivered Red Lobster an app that not only integrated with their technology, but also gave them complete control over the user experience, the long-term vision of the app and of course their intellectual property.

We got to work

After speaking with multiple vendors, Red Lobster was impressed by our portfolio and technical knowledge and decided to partner with us. Red Lobster also in person from having a local vendor that can meet in person to have collaborative meetings when needed. It was during one of our early, in-person meetings that we recommended the use of React Native and NodeJS as a hybrid solution that would allow the app to be managed by a single code base for both the Android and Apple marketplaces.

It’s in our approach

Concepta built a tailored app solution that tracks users’ rewards points by receipt and awards discounts and bonuses based on the frequency of their restaurant visits. In addition, the app also provides Red Lobster’s menus in full and intuitively integrates withGrubhub and other delivery apps, allowing users to track their deliveries

We produced results

The app we delivered not only tracks points, discounts, and bonuses, but it also allows diners to order their meals after perusing their delicious-looking menus. And our efforts paid off. The numbers we achieved with the Red Lobster Rewards app speak for themselves:
